We are expanding our Spa Serenity team! We are looking for a full-time, year round Spa Coordinator who is friendly, courteous, and goes above and beyond so each guest feels as if they’re a guest in our home.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

Schedule appointments and work with our guests from their arrival through their departure. They ensure guest satisfaction & comfort & ensure our spa runs smoothly which allows our therapists and technicians to focus on providing the best spa services to each guest. A Spa Serenity Coordinator also displays exceptional customer service skills to effectively sell services, packages, gift cards, and retail. The ideal candidate will have retail knowledge and the ability to to sell/upsell products in an efficient and professional manner.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • Previous retail experience or similar experience on the sales floor is a plus.
  • Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
  • Exhibit excellent sales and customer service
  • Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy and an ability to handle difficult situations.
  • Basic understanding of the sales principles and customer service practices.
  • Ability to multitask
  • Customer service oriented
  • Is a quick learner with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Has a positive and outgoing personality
  • Displays a genuine team spirit
  • Has general computer skills
  • Hours may be flexible however, the ability to work at least two weekends a month, and work some evenings (we are open one night a week until 8 pm).

SPA COORDINATOR’S RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not exclusive to:

  • Standing/walking around for an extended period of time while there are shoppers in the boutique area.
  • Maintain Professional relationships with guests and technicians.
  • Greet customers upon arrival for their appointments and boutique shopping, providing them with help and information in a professional manner.
  • Uphold gracious front desk procedures in the booking, upselling, retail sales, and handling of customers.
  • Become/remain knowledgeable about and answer questions related to Spa Serenity merchandise, sales, promotions, and the boutique displays.
  • Provide recommendations on products and services based on the clients wants and needs.
  • Have an excellent understanding of the retail/boutique floor so that you can locate merchandise for customers in a timely manner.
  • Exhibit excellent attention to detail at the desk and on the retail floor.
  • Keep the front lobby, bathrooms, lounges, and boutique neat and tidy at all times.
  • Answer phone calls when the lead reservationist is unavailable, in a professional and timely manner while following established booking procedures.
  • Handle refunds, returns, exchanges, and the protocol behind those.
  • Handle money in a responsible manner and account for the correct amount of money per transaction.
  • Proper knowledge of Spa Serenity services and technicians that provide services.
  • Assist in managing the day to day operations and flow of the daily spa operations.
  • Respond to emails efficiently, professionally, and consistently.
  • Regularly update and take inventory of the Spa Serenity Boutique, as scheduled. Keeping the Boutique stocked, faced, and making sure the displays are presented in a fresh and new way.
  • Assisting guests in appointment booking and shopping the boutique
  • Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately to guests and staff
  • Guiding the guest experience both over the phone and in the spa in a consistently professional and courteous manner to book spa appointments, check in & out, & and answer other spa related questions
  • Accurately describing and recommending retail in the boutique items and services
  • Opening / closing tasks
  • Operation of POS system, assist with light housekeeping duties, attend meetings and required training, participate in sales and marketing events both inside and outside of Spa Serenity
